Best Extra Moist Brownie Recipe

Best Extra Moist Brownie Recipe

Want the best brownie recipe?

To me the best brownies are the ones that have a good crust or crunch on the top and soft and moist on the inside. I like a good amount of vanilla of course (if you know anything about this site and recipe, vanilla is one of my favorite baking ingredients).

These brownies are so simple, it takes just a few minutes to bring the batter together. This is a small batch recipe; a lot of times I like to double the recipe to make a bigger batch to last a little longer. If you need a new baking dish you can look up some unique ones at sur la table (free shipping)

You can take a look at another dessert recipe using these brownies if you want to get a little more experimental with your desserts. Here is the best brownie recipe, I hope you enjoy it!

Best Brownie Recipe

  • 1/2 cup butter (melted)
  • 1 1/8 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 1 tbsp vanilla paste (or 1/2 vanilla bean)
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

How to make brownies

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a bowl pour melt warm butter. Add sugar, vanilla, and mix well. Add the dry ingredients and mix well with a whisk. Pour the batter into the prepared square 8 inch baking dish and bake for roughly 22-25 minutes, or until a cake tester comes out clean. Take out and allow to cool to room temperature. Serve and enjoy!
